When we build a rifle at Yellowstone Rifle Company, every component is selected for a purpose. Precision, consistency, balance, and reliability under real use conditions guide every decision we make. This rifle was assembled with that standard in mind, using components that complement one another mechanically and functionally.

Action: Yellowstone Tactical Vero LW Stainless

The foundation of the build is our Vero Lightweight stainless action. Stainless construction offers long-term durability and corrosion resistance, while the Vero design provides the smooth cycling and tight tolerances required for precision shooting. The reduced weight does not compromise strength, making it an ideal base for a modern precision setup.

Barrel: Proof Research Sendero Light – 1:8 Twist

We chose a Proof Research Sendero Light carbon barrel with a 1:8 twist. The carbon-wrapped design delivers stiffness without excessive forward weight, and the twist rate is optimized for stabilizing today’s high-BC 7mm projectiles. The goal is predictable harmonics, consistent accuracy, and repeatable performance shot after shot.

Chambering: 7mm PRC

This rifle is chambered in 7mm PRC, a cartridge known for its efficiency, reliable trajectory, and strong performance across varied distances. The chamber was cut for clean feeding, solid extraction, and alignment that supports accuracy-focused applications.

Stock: Manners EH-4

The build is housed in a Manners EH-4 stock, selected for its balance, ergonomics, and recoil management characteristics. Manners stocks are known for structural integrity and stability under recoil, and the EH-4 provides a consistent interface between shooter and rifle. The finish is applied for durability and a clean, refined appearance.

Optic: Burris Eliminator

The rifle is equipped with a Burris Eliminator optic, mounted and leveled to ensure proper alignment and tracking. This optic provides ranging assistance and a clear, reliable sight picture, giving the shooter an efficient system for confident target engagement at varying distances.
